On Thursday, October 19, 2017, the Aero Club will be guests of the Air Victory Museum at South Jersey Regional Airport in Lumberton, NJ. Members and friends will have the chance to view the museum from 6PM-8PM and then see a presentation by the museum staff. An optional dinner will be held at 7PM
in the museum (this is a change from our original plans).
PLEASE SIGN UP BY TUESDAY FOR DINNER. We will collect $40 per person for dinner and a donation to the museum, or $10 per person for the museum visit only.
This compact museum houses about a dozen military jet aircraft and trainers. The large and powerful the F-14A Tomcat and F-4A Phantom II dwarf the A-4C Skyhawk and the full size 1903 Wright Flyer replica. The museum also has a collection of military uniforms, engines and ordinance along with informative displays of military aviation history.
You can drive or fly into KVAY. Flying in, you can park on the ramp in front and to the side of the restaurant.
